Jumping on the blog bandwagon.

Ok, so I'm new to the world of blogging. Better late than never, right? A bunch of my friends and coworkers have started blogs and have spurred my interest -- no way am I being left out. Some are seasoned bloggers and some are fairly new to the blog world just as I am. I think the one event that piqued my interest the most is the "One World One Heart" give away that is currently taking place. I'm too late getting this started to participate in this year's give away, but I'm sure as heck going to join in on the next go around. What an awesome idea. There are some very talented and creative people out there.

I'm not really sure, at this point, what all I'll be blogging about. As my blog name suggests, I'll definitely be sharing my creative pursuits. I enjoy doing a wide variety of crafts and learning new crafting skills. I have taken a 2 1/2 year hiatus, of sorts, from crafting, but I so want to get back to it as creating something, and watching it take shape brings me a lot of pleasure. If I'm not blogging about craft projects, my other most favorite topic would be my furbabies, the lights of my life, my two pugs. Anyone who knows me can tell you just how crazy I am over these two dogs. So, I can almost guarantee you'll be hearing a lot about Jazzy and Grace -- not to mention tons of pictures. If I happen to have an epiphany or words of wisdom you'll be hearing about that as well. One thing you probably won't get here is major political discussions. I definitely have strong opinions on the issues, and I do talk about it, but for the most part, I really do hate politics. It's so volatile and most of the time ticks me off so badly I can't see straight.

I'll close for now because it's getting late. I'll simply say, I don't know what the heck I'm doing, but I'm going to have fun figuring it out. If you stick it out with me hopefully you'll find something here that will inspire, give you a good laugh, or perhaps provoke some thought. Whatever the outcome, I hope it has a positive impact.
